Graduates of STI's Engineering programs are prepared to manage areas in electronics, data communications, software development, microprocessor systems, and robotics as they are equipped with broad knowledge and skills in modern computer systems, electronics, and communications. The BS Computer Engineering program is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills for today's computer systems. The program aims to develop students' critical thinking and decision-making skills to produce analytical and practical engineers. The integration of theories learned inside the classroom and on-the-job training will prepare students in the areas of data communications, computer systems architecture, and software development. With training in state-of-the-art facilities from industry professionals, students will graduate with a strong foundation to build the next generation of computer and network technology.

The two-year Computer and Consumer Electronics with Broadband Technology program aims to provide students with the necessary skills, knowledge, and techniques for a career in the computer and consumer electronics industry. Students will learn how to to set-up, maintain, and repair computer hardware systems and networks, consumer electronics, audio/video products, electronically-controlled domestic appliances, and mobile devices. They will also learn how to set-up and configure broadband mast and accessories, cables, and Customer-Premises Equipment (CPE). The course provides a balanced education and training through the inclusion of classroom activities and practical hands-on projects. Students will also be prepared to earn national certificates on computer hardware servicing, consumer electronics servicing, and broadband installation.
