May 22 2010, University of Cordilleras Baguio City – Another student of STI College – Baguio successfully made it to this year's top Ten Outstanding Students of the Cordillera Administrative Region (TOSP-CAR) or more popularly known as OSCAR, the regional search for the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP).

A recent graduate of BS Computer Science, Myle Melody Daniels will represent the region together with the nine awardees in the upcoming national search of the TOSP. Myle is the third representative of STI College- Baguio to have been included in the OSCAR roster. The first was Gilyn Abordo in 2006 and Jesse Reuben Bestre who, in 2009, managed to qualify as finalist in the National level. 2008 included Rey Sagondoy and Silver Faith Reyes among the regional finalists.

Apart from graduating Cum Laude, Myle is the school's representative to the 2010 STI Student of the Year. Outstanding not only in academics but also in other areas, Myle attributes her success to her ability to balance her academic responsibilities with her social and religious activities. She is proud to share that she is a worship leader in The Great Commission Full Gospel Fellowship where she is also active in youth camps as well as dance and music workshops.
With her inclusion in the TOSP-CAR, she now looks forward to being part of the roster who will vie for the TOSP National level this July. Despite her recognitions, Myle personifies humility and simplicity, and lives by her adage, "Serve God, serve other people, and never compromise your values."
The annual search for the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) was born out of a quest to celebrate, affirm, and inspire the idealism of the Filipino youth in leadership, excellence, and social responsibility. Inspired by the ideals of Dr. Jose Rizal, it aims to create more and more role models who will share their talents and skills and become a new breed of leaders that will change the nation for the better.
