STI joins ABS?CBN for the 2004 Halalan Quick Count

STI, the Philippines' largest network of colleges, once again partnered with ABS-CBN, the nation's largest television network for the 2004 Halalan Quick Count. For the third time, ABS-CBN chose STI to be its partner for the Halalan coverage to provide Filipinos early election results with emphasis on the correct sampling of vote to get the profile of how Filipinos voted nationwide.

 

The 2004 Halalan Quick Count underscores STI's thrust in ensuring that the election results are fair and honest by leading the quick tabulation result countdown. "The first two years that we participated in the election quick count was painstaking. Yet, it has given us a sense of fulfillment that in our own little way, we made a noble job in providing fast and accurate results to the Filipinos," says Mhel Garrido, events manager of STI Events Management Division. "That is something which all of us at STI are proud of," he stressed.

 

To ensure the smooth flow of the coverage, ABS-CBN will provide the software and infrastructure for use in the quick count, while STI will mobilize its12, 000 student volunteers from STI schools nationwide.
