Bombo Radyo picks STI for a fast and accurate election results

Bombo Radyo Philippines , one of the country's top radio stations, has deployed a tabulation system from STI, the country's largest network of colleges, which was used during the radio's election coverage dubbed as "The Vote 2004".

 

Using STI's software program, Bombo Radyo was able to deliver real time, fast and accurate election results distributed nationwide. STI also provided high-level and consistent technical support for the project. Apart from the tabulation system, STI assigned students and faculty volunteers stationed in selected municipalities in the NCR, Central Luzon and Southern Tagalog Regions.

 

Sealing the deal through a handshake are Herman Basbaño, vice-president and chief operating officer of Bombo Radyo Philippines and Peter Fernandez, senior vice-president of STI. With them are (extreme left) Elbert de Guzman, vice-president for marketing of STI; and George Castro, research and development director of Bombo Radyo Philippines.
