STI Wins Anvil Award for Career Planning Program

Following its Silver Anvil win for its social media pages last year, STI secured another Silver Award at the 61^st Anvil Awards on January 28, 2026. Hosted at the Solaire Resort North, the ceremony recognized the STI Career Planning Program: Empowering the Youth to Be Future-Ready under the Public Relations Programs (Marketing and Brand Communication) for its commitment to providing meaningful career guidance to Filipino youth.

The STI Career Planning Program helps students understand their strengths, explore academic options, and build a clear career direction. Since its launch in 2017, the program has empowered incoming college freshmen to navigate the pivotal transition toward higher education. By providing practical tools and comprehensive guidance, this initiative helps the students confidently answer the question “What’s next?” as they map out their future career paths. This long-standing commitment is rooted in student-centered approach, designed to producing future-ready graduates.

 

The program’s success lies in its multi-faceted tool kit. STI partners with schools nationwide to deliver career guide journals filled with self-discovery activities and personality tests. This is complemented by the STI Students Career Opportunity and Personality Evaluator (SCOPE), an online assessment tool that identifies students' personality, interests, and possible career paths. Furthermore, the STI Career Camp offers an interactive workshop series where incoming senior high school and college students engage in hands-on activities to discover the track or program that best fits their interests and strengths.

This latest recognition from the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the organizers of the Anvil Awards, underscore the program’s impact. As the most prestigious symbol of public relations excellence in the country, an Anvil Award highlights initiatives that deliver a lasting positive impact on their audience.
