About the Program

Gain the basic principles of bartending, mixology, and the standard foodservice training in the Restaurant & Bar Operations program. Students who choose this track may pursue college degrees in Bartending, Food & Beverage or Hotel & Restaurant Management.

 

  • Operate a bar.
  • Prepare and mix cocktails and non-alcoholic concoctions.
  • Provide basic wine service.
  • Prepare espresso.
  • Texture milk.
  • Prepare and serve coffee beverages.
  • Prepare the dining room or restaurant area for service.
  • Welcome guests and take food and beverage orders.
  • Promote food and beverage products.
  • Provide food and beverage services to guests.
  • Provide room service.
