Tourism Operations

About the Program

Be exposed to travel and tourism information systems, tourism marketing, airline ticketing, hospitality services, and other aspects of the tourism industry in the Tourism Operations program. Students of this specialization will be ready to pursue a degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management.

 

  • Operate an automated information system.
  • Source and provide destination information and advice.
  • Access and interpret product information.
  • Promote tourism products and services.
  • Create travel-related reservations and transactions.
  • Aid travel documentation preparation.
  • Issue International Air Transport Association (IATA) Billing Settlement Plan (BSP) documents and other passage documents.
  • Research information relevant to tour itinerary.
  • Manage arrangements for visitors.
  • Accompany and guide visitors in accordance with the tour itinerary.
