STI Opens New Doors to Academic Excellence
Following the unveiling of STI Academic Centers in Global City, Naga, Fairview, and Alabang, STI marked another milestone as it inaugurated its newest Academic Center in Novaliches, Quezon City on June 29, 2012.
Standing on a 7,200-square-meter property, the new STI Academic Center Novaliches houses an amphitheater, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, highly-advanced facilities such as LED monitors installed in every classroom, hot and cold kitchen laboratories, fully-equipped computer laboratories, a library with a wide array of research materials and internet connection, and a students’ lounge with free Wi-Fi access.
STI President and CEO Mr. Monico V. Jacob led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which signaled the formal launch of the new Academic Center, together with Hon. Alfred Vargas and Hon. Aly Medalla, 2nd District Councilors of Quezon City.
“Being true to our commitment of providing quality education to the Filipino youth, in the coming years, students and parents can look forward to more STI Academic Centers which will be prime hubs of academic excellence,” shares Mr. Jacob.
Those who graced the inauguration ceremonies included Commission on Higher Education (CHED) officials Dr. Lilian Enriquez, Dr. Jessie Abril, and Mr. Ben Macatangay, representatives and officials from different high schools in Quezon City, and STI HQ executives.
Earmarking a budget of approximately 1.5 billion pesos for future developments, STI is set to build more Academic Centers in key locations across the country this year.
