About the Program

Learn basic principles of the hospitality industry, concierge services, hotel accommodation and reservation, and more in the Hotel Operations program. Students who choose this specialization may pursue college degrees in Hospitality & Tourism or Hotel & Restaurant Management.

 

  • Receive and process reservations.
  • Operate a computerized reservations system.
  • Provide accommodation reception services.
  • Conduct night audit.
  • Provide club reception and porter services.
  • Provide concierge and bell services.
  • Provide cashiering services.
  • Provide housekeeping services to guests.
  • Clean and prepare rooms for incoming guests.
  • Provide valet/butler service.
  • Launder linen and guest clothes.
  • Deal with/handle intoxicated guests.
  • Research information relevant to tour itinerary.
  • Manage arrangements for visitors.
  • Accompany and guide visitors in accordance with the tour itinerary.
