GIFs & TAGs is a web development competition aimed to test and challenge the students' creative and technical skills in developing fully functional web pages at par with the industry's standards. In addition, this competition will determine the problem-solving skills of the students in creating a functional web project with a given set of technologies and resources to come up with the best full-featured website that conforms to the competition's standard.

On a lighter note, STI likewise wants to promote the spirit of camaraderie and synergy among the students by working together to achieve a common goal. This competition will also improve the self-esteem and personal growth of the students by joining activities on a national level.

Competing students are tasked to develop a complete, dynamic, and functional website for STI which will serve as the national portal for all schools. The website shall conform to the functionalities and standards provided in the mechanics of the contest.
